divaDanielle transformed from DJ fan to DJ one fateful evening 5 years ago at The Ivar in Hollywood. Darren Emerson (of Underworld fame) tossed a record into the crowd, Grant Nelson "Free & Switch," which Danielle excitedly caught. It was at this moment she felt the universe telling her to get off the dance floor and get behind the decks.

She soon began building her repertoire of deep and funky house mixed with darker tech house. Danielle started organizing clubs around town. She and a group of girls eager to spin created Girls Spun Wild, featuring female DJs from all genres. She continues to promote local female artists with GSW as well as writing reviews and promoting events for Shejay.net. This year, Danielle joins the infamous Hipgenesis crew as part of their Sonic Assault Team (aka superstar DJs!). Known for their elaborate underground events, Hipgenesis combines thumpin' music, production design, the freshest locations and a great vibe.

Her deep love for the music shines through in her performances. A friend once told her, "You remind me of a little girl singing in front of her mirror when you DJ!" Her energy is a highlight in her sets. She sings along, wears costumes and dances, all the while keeping the crowd bumping with her funky song selections, guaranteed to get your booty movin'.
