Mando Soria first began listening to Electonic Dance Music during the late 90's and immidiatly fell in love. He bagan tunning in to a weekly show on the local radio station that would feature an hour of house and trance. During that hour, Mando would record the songs off the radio using an old tape recorder and began creating his own mix tapes calling himself DJ Chingon and would play them for friends. In 2002 Mando's passion for electronic music grew and led to the rave scene.which was very minimal in his home town of Salinas, CA. It was here when Mando and long time friend Ivan Alejo decided to join forces and aimed to spread the sound to as many people as possible. The two started to throw weekly underground meets under the name A.I in the cities emptiest parking lots. The two would cue tracks in each others cars and take turns blasting their favorite songs. Mando Soria graduated High School in 2003 and began to plow through college classes in order to move to southern california.

After moving to Santa Barbara, California in 2005 Mando Soria was reunited with the sound of electronic dance music and fell in love for the second time. He decided to truly commit himself and purchased his first set of DJ equipment. A pair of turntables and a small 2 channel mixer. After countless hours of practice and a few hundred dollars spent on records, monitors and other accessories the time came for his first gigs held in Infamous Isla Vista, a small college community known for its tremendous parties and Maxim Magazine number 1 Halloween hotspot. After gaining respect from drunken students Mando Decided to take it to the next level and began a monthly residency in a local venue under the production company he named Euphoric Senses. It was at this time when DJ Elwan (another Santa Barbara DJ who hailed from Cairo, Egypt) joined forces with Mando in order to bang the drums twice as loud. In the later months of 2006 a late night meeting took place between some of Santa Barbara’s underground DJ’s, Adrian DJ, KP Ward, The Black Light Special aka Rene Lomeli, DJ SVGmethods aka Curly, Elwan and Mando Soria. It was during this meeting when the group decided to officially affiliate themselves under the name Fix Promotions. Mando joined the group in weekly residencies earning him a reputation for bringing a twisted blend of techy electro house music with heavy bass drive inspired by his heroes at Dirtybird records (SF). In the Summer of 2007 Mando Soria relocated to Los Angeles, CA in pursuit of a education and of course a bigger market for Electronic Dance Music. Since his move he has played 3 charity events for Cal State University, Long Beach and Brooks College of Design and Photography and was also booked at the world famous City Walk in Hollywood California. Recently Mando Soria and Elwan Launched an online Radio show on www.insoulwetrust.com
